CROOKED TREE VILLAGE REUNION POSTPONED

September 28, 2010

Thank you everyone for your continued support to our Crooked Tree Village reunion.

We regret to announce that the Crooked Tree Village Reunion will not take place as planned on April 22-24, 2011. Please consider this decision a postponement.

The difficult decision to postpone followed various meetings with our committee in the US and Belize. We’ve made an effort to include input and opinions from a cross section of people outside of the reunion committee with respect to this matter. Unanimously the feedback we received indicated general support for this decision.

As you can imagine, the tough world wide economic and financial times is the primary reason we have arrived at this decision. Additional factors included limited responses in projecting anticipated attendance, scheduling for families to travel to Belize because of children in school, timing of the annual Spring Break, and other understandable priorities in many of our lives.

Once again this was a difficult but collective decision made by all our committee members. Please help us by continuing to spread the word of this postponement.

Congratulations to Louise Crawford for her 30 years of service to Motorola and Motorola/ Evans Analytical Group. She has shouldered the work needed to perform high quality analytical testing. Ms. Crawford was awarded for her commitment to her quality of work and her exemplary years of service and value to the company. She was recognized with a beautiful marble based plaque and was handsomely presented with a gift card from American Express.

Louise is the daughter of Elias and Florence Gillett Crawford of Crooked Tree Village, and a loyal committee member of the Crooked Tree Village Reunion.

It's been a busy and exciting few months for all of us with the planning of the 2nd Crooked Tree Village Reunion.

We've been working hard to put the finishing touches on some of the activities for your entertainment. One of the things we would like to bring to the reunion again is the family tree competition. We encouraged you to start working on them for display at the reunion, who knows, you might win a prize. We are also looking to you for big ideas to make our reunion even better.
